Meet Annabelle

Hi! I’m Annabelle, a licensed esthetician and permanent makeup artist at Village Skin Sanctuary. I graduated from the Cortiva Institute in January 2024 and have been with VSS ever since.

I’ve always been obsessed with skincare and beauty, but I also struggled with persistent acne for most of my adult life. I tried everything from expensive prescriptions, working with  several dermatologists (who typically ended up being dismissive), and every skincare tip I could find online. Nothing helped until I worked with an esthetician who completely transformed my skin! That experience inspired me to become an esthetician myself, and it’s a huge part of why I care so much about helping my clients get real results that boost their confidence and make them feel beautiful.

I especially love working with acne, hyperpigmentation, healthy aging, and barrier-compromised skin. I’m super passionate about the science behind skin and skincare formulations so I can make informed, evidence-based decisions for each client. I’m not big on unnecessary “fluff” in treatments — I like every step to feel intentional, customized, and results-driven (although I am known for my facial massage ☺️).

My creative side is what led me into permanent makeup. I’m honestly obsessed with PMU and could spend hours in my room practicing hairstrokes and shading techniques. My philosophy is that great permanent makeup should look soft, natural, and undetectable — like your brows just reached their full potential. One of my biggest goals is to continue growing in this area of my career and eventually offer fine line tattooing.

Some of my advanced certifications include Face Reality Acne Specialist, Circadia Oncology Skin Specialist, Circadia Advanced Chemical Peels, PCA Peels, Dermaplane Pro, nano-infusion, nano-needling, LED therapy, and Powder Brows.

Outside of the treatment room, you can usually find me reading, painting, thrifting, or working out. My favorite service to both give and receive is dermaplaning because I’m obsessed with the smooth, glassy results :)
